Monday started out with a phone call from my friend inviting Darren and Kathryn to spend the week in Preston. So we worked it out and I ran them to the Bee's game that night to meet them. After living here for the last 2.5 years my kids and I still really miss Preston. We lived there for over 9.5 years so to them it is still home. This is the first time Kathryn has had the chance to go back up. It is Rodeo week there so it is one of the best times of the year!
Ryan had planned on going camping this weekend but said that we could switch and go camping up there somewhere so that the kids could visit Preston and we could bring the kids home with us. Yesterday when he got home from work the neighbor girl was selling apricots for a nickel. So he sent Rebecca over with a quarter to buy 5. Then a little while later the aunt brought us over another bag so that she could get rid of them and Ryan decided to make jam. So Steph went over with a dollar and they gave us the whole bowl. Ryan started cooking jam at about 9 last night and finished it right before 11. It will be a nice treat just not what I had planned on doing. I am avoiding going downstairs as I know he didn't clean everything up.
It is strange to just have the 3 little girls here. We are kicking back and relaxing. I guess today we will start getting stuff ready to go camping. I really don't like camping very much but I shouldn't complain because Ryan loves it and does all of the work when we go. My biggest issue is the DIRT. I hate the feeling of being dirty and not getting clean. Last year when we went to Whidbey Island Ryan handed me a roll of quarters so that I could take as many showers as I wanted. ( I didn't spend the whole $10 on me but came close) Oh well see why my week is so boring. I have tons of projects to do but don't have the desire to do anything. I know I am LAZY!
I still don't have a job yet and that doesn't help.

I can't email right now Kerri but I am able to check blogs. I was in our new 24 hour walmart today and boy were they getting set up for a PARTY for the Stephenie Meyer book. I am not into the books but it looked so fun I wanted to go. I won't, but I wondered if you, Kathryn, or Deena and her girls would be going to anything like that. I pulled my camera out of my purse so snap some shots but the battery was being charged at home and I had forgotten to put it back in. I always keep my camera with me. People were walking around in red and black and there was going to be lots of free stuff. I heard someone say they had 1700 copies of the book and depending on how many people came they would probably sell 4 per customer. Anyway, what hoopla! Guess I need to finish the first book, and now the 3rd will be on paperback. By the time I am done with it, if ever, the 4th will be too.
Have fun camping! Glad D and K got to go "home" to Preston and that you will too, even if for a short time. By the way, if it's odd having only 3 girls there, I can spare a child, or two, or three! Actually, today was quite nice. Just playing, no arguring. Not much, anyway. This is your change to take them for a couple of days cuz you know how it is during the school year....you guys just love all the babies. Maybe I'll be in favor again someday! JK. I still need to tell you the funnies Rebecca said before I forget. One of them is that if she can't be at her house she would like to be at ours. Also, Darren's friends are NOT cute. I'll save the rest for later.
