Mothers Who Know

"Mothers who know" do less. They permit less of what will not bear good fruit eternally. They allow less media in their homes, less distraction, less activity that draws their children away from their home. Mothers who know are willing to live on less and consume less of the world’s goods in order to spend more time with their children—more time eating together, more time working together, more time reading together, more time talking, laughing, singing, and exemplifying. These mothers choose carefully and do not try to choose it all. Their goal is to prepare a rising generation of children who will take the gospel of Jesus Christ into the entire world. Their goal is to prepare future fathers and mothers who will be builders of the Lord’s kingdom for the next 50 years. That is influence; that is power." ~Julie Beck

School, School, and lots more School,

This year we are starting school at 8:15. It is going to be a pain because we will get out of school at 2:45. And that means we will get home around 3:15. Because the buses drive so slow!! But that means that I will have more time to get ready for school and that is always a plus!! On Saturday my mom got her hair done we went online to see what kind of cut she would like and found this picture. . .
And then joked around about if my mom had that face she wouldn't even need her hair cut!! But mom just a realality or is it realaity (I hate how there is no spell check on here!!) you are a lovely woman and a great example to all of your 5 little Rasciles!! LOL lots of love, Kathryn

If your mom had any face you would still love her. In reality it is what is inside that counts. As for the bus ride, BOO HOO! I still love you!
